Dr. Engler is the absolute best!! I cannot thank him enough! 🙂 I was referred to his office by my pulmonologist because I kept ending up in the ER and Urgent Care with very severe asthma, scary asthma where I wasn’t sure if I was no longer going to be here on Earth (which is frightening especially if you have a kid-and dogs lol-who need you). ... It is very scary when you cannot breathe and especially because I know of 4 (now 5) people who have passed away from asthma (which I found out is the reason why Dr. Engler is so passionate about helping people with asthma and has made it his life’s mission). With his allergy and asthma treatments (which have made a HUGE difference in my life and have helped me 90+%), I now have more confidence with daily living and I’m pretty sure he has saved my life! Nurse Kiahna is also really great, kind and helpful 🙂 Lisa who manages the front office knows how to hold everything down and resolves potential issues so easily. The staff here is awesome and so nice. Honestly, this place is a God send for me and I am so happy and grateful I ended up here! 🙂

These folks are incredibly good at their job. The nurses are prompt and kind and I've built relationships since I go weekly. The receptionists and the billing staff are amazing and professional and call you back promptly. Dr. Engler is also incredibly sharp, competent, and informative. He really takes his time to walk you through the plan and your test results. Everyone here tells you what's going to happen, ... and they follow up.I've been to other allergy clinics in the past (Columbia Allergy) and they will give you the runaround, run out of supplies (drops, allergy shots), be closed and not give their patients a heads up, etc. Going to the Allergy and Asthma clinic, in contrast, is a breath of fresh air.I've been going to this clinic for ~2 years now, and my allergy symptoms have gotten much better. I went from being extremely sensitive to many environmental allergens to now tolerably sensitive. I plan to continue going for another 5 years to get the maximum benefit, but I cannot recommend this clinic enough to my friends and family.THANK YOU ALLERGY AND ASTHMA CLINIC

Dr. Engler and his staff of kind nurses have been amazing over the last 18 months. I was miserable with repeated respiratory illnesses because of undiagnosed allergies and asthma. After coming here to ... get tested and starting immunotherapy, my quality of life has greatly improved. Taking the time to come regularly for treatment has changed my life. First and foremost let me start by saying that these people did one hell of a job figuring out my sinus problems. When I first arrived there, I explained what was going on with me having excessive inflammation in the sinus…after they tested me, I found out that I was being exposed to dust mites which gave me a strong reaction. I followed the doctors guides lines in terms of cleaning my room and ever since, my sinus inflammation went away for good and now I have a healthy sinus. Thank you for everything.
My 10 year old son also has allergies and asthma and the staff makes sure that he feels well taken care of and comfortable, despite his having Autism and ADHD. He actually looks forward to going there with me, whether it be for my allergy shots or even when he needed allergy skin testing. When you’re a patient at the Allergy and Asthma clinic, you are treated as if you are the only patient they have, even when the waiting room is full. Dr. Engler has hired truly excellent staff, from the front desk people to the nurses and medical assistants. If you have allergies and/or asthma and you live on the Peninsula or even in the city, I highly recommend that you visit the Allergy and Asthma Clinic. They are truly amazing and will make you feel so much better.
