These folks are incredibly good at their job. The nurses are prompt and kind and I've built relationships since I go weekly. The receptionists and the billing staff are amazing and professional and call you back promptly. Dr. Engler is also incredibly sharp, competent, and informative. He really takes his time to walk you through the plan and your test results. Everyone here tells you what's going to happen, and they follow up.
I've been to other allergy clinics in the past (Columbia Allergy) and they will give you the runaround, run out of supplies (drops, allergy shots), be closed and not give their patients a heads up, etc. Going to the Allergy and Asthma clinic, in contrast, is a breath of fresh air.
I've been going to this clinic for ~2 years now, and my allergy symptoms have gotten much better. I went from being extremely sensitive to many environmental allergens to now tolerably sensitive. I plan to continue going for another 5 years to get the maximum benefit, but I cannot recommend this clinic enough to my friends and family.

When I recently asked whether he ... knew of an allergist in Tokyo so I could continue treatment if I moved there, Dr. Engler researched the question and personally called me back that same evening. That level of care is incredibly rare. The staff are equally kind and accommodating, especially in helping manage my children's shot schedules. First and foremost let me start by saying that these people did one hell of a job figuring out my sinus problems. When I first arrived there, I explained what was going on with me having excessive inflammation in the sinus…after they tested me, I found out that I was being exposed to dust mites which gave me a strong reaction. I followed the doctors guides lines in terms of cleaning my room and ever since, my sinus inflammation went away for good and now I have a healthy sinus. Thank you for everything.
My 10 year old son also has allergies and asthma and the staff makes sure that he feels well taken care of and comfortable, despite his having Autism and ADHD. He actually looks forward to going there with me, whether it be for my allergy shots or even when he needed allergy skin testing. When you’re a patient at the Allergy and Asthma clinic, you are treated as if you are the only patient they have, even when the waiting room is full. Dr. Engler has hired truly excellent staff, from the front desk people to the nurses and medical assistants. If you have allergies and/or asthma and you live on the Peninsula or even in the city, I highly recommend that you visit the Allergy and Asthma Clinic. They are truly amazing and will make you feel so much better.
